What kind of carts can I tow?

A Trike's ability to pull carts depends on its design, power and intended use. In general, trikes designed to tow have specific features to support such tasks. Here are a few types of carts or trailers that a Trike could pull: Danish and auction carts, garbage containers, medical carts, trailers, cargo carts, etc.

How long can I drive on a fully charged battery?

The driving range of our electric vehicles depends on several factors, such as battery capacity, motor power, driving conditions and how the vehicle is used.

Eg: Trike-400 with a battery of 24V - 40Ah and a motor with a power of 400W can drive ((24x40) / 400) = 2.4 hours (at full power).

How much weight can I tow with the Trike?

The towing capacity, or payload capacity, of a Trike depends on its design, construction and intended use. Different Trikes are designed for different purposes and their weight capacity can vary significantly. Eg: the Trike-1200 can effortlessly pull 1600 Kg of weight and the Trike-3000 can easily pull 3 tons of weight.

What about the warranty?

It is common for vehicles to have a limited warranty that can range from one to several years. We offer as standard:

- on all our vehicles a 1-year 'carry-in service warranty',

- on AGM batteries a 6-month 'cary-in service warranty',

- on lithium batteries, a 2-year 'carry-in service warranty'.                                   

Note: 'Carry-in service warranty' means that the consumer has to bring the product himself for repair. Or we can arrange transport for you. In this case, the transport costs are for the consumer.

Who does the service? Where to go for repairs if something breaks?

If your Trike is still under warranty, it is often advisable to have repairs done by us to ensure warranty coverage.

Can the Trike withstand wet areas? Are the vehicles waterproof?

Our electric vehicles are not waterproof. It is therefore not the intention to drive with it in the rain or leave it in damp areas.

Note: If the vehicle does not run anymore due to moisture (water, oil or other liquids), you cannot claim warranty coverage.

Do you also do on-site repairs? Is a replacement vehicle arranged during repair?

No, we do not do on-site repair. But exceptions can always be made. Please contact the 'Towanytrolley Team' and ask about the possibilities.

We unfortunately do not offer a replacement vehicle during repair, but we do our utmost to repair the vehicle as soon as possible so that the customer can quickly resume their daily activities.

Is it safe to drive it?

Our electric vehicles are equipped with sufficient safety features, such as brakes, emergency buttons, horn and possibly the backrest. These features contribute to safety while driving.

What accessories are available? Is there a light on it?

Our Trikes come standard with a box (with lid), backrest and an ECC13 coupler. Click here to view options to further pimp your vehicle.

What kind of surfaces can the tires ride on?

In general, Trikes tires are designed to ride on a variety of surfaces. Our pneumatic tires are suitable for riding on rough terrain, asphalt and other paved roads.

We also offer the option of equipping Trikes with puncture-proof wheels. In some situations where flat tires are undesirable, such as certain forms of recreation, puncture-proof wheels can be an advantage. They are maintenance-free, reliable, longer life span, stable performance, although not suitable for rough terrain or off-road riding.
